You may find the new apple air tag and tiles work for the same purpose but there are some differences between them . today I`m going to rant regarding those differences below :
Size options:
tiles offer many sizes, so you can choose depending on your needs. On the other hand, the Apple air tag has only one version of the tag. even the Apple tag is slightly bigger than the Tiles sticker. price: the highest price of the title tag is 30 USD, and the Apple air tag costs each 29 USD and 99 USD for a pack of 4 Air Tags.
Best feature:
the apple find my App`s location tracking system very accurate and can direct you to the tagged object finely with its precision finding that works by Apple U1 chip. you can use tiles on any device.
Disadvantage:
you can’t use the air tag with android devices because the app is available only on ios. but tile can be a Lil troubling to use if your area doesn’t have enough tile users.
assistant support:
Tiles support google assistant and air tags support Siri.
Water resistance: tag can survive submerged for about 30 minutes underwater. whereas, tile mate and tile pro can only survive a splash of water. but tile sticker and slim can survive splashes and be submerged underwater for up to minutes.
Longevity:
at the mate and pro will last a yr with its replaceable battery (like air tag ), the slip and sticker can last 3 years.
attach Ability:
Tile mate and pro have their ring hole. But the air tag doesn’t have that so it requires a case to attach and this case purchase double the air tag price as this case each can cost 29 dollars to 99 dollars. apple air tag Hermes case can cost about 300-350 USD. phone ringing option: tiles have their built-in button so that you can tap on it and that button can make your phone ring( even in silent mode ). if you tap the apple tag with the back of your phone it automatically opens a webpage that leaves a contact phone number (works both with android and ios devices).
Human tracking safety:
If an air tag travels with you for 3 days, it will automatically send you a notification regarding an anonymous tag is near you for a long time. This can alert the person who was being tracked for a while. this pushup notification can happen on any device. But the tiles doesn’t come with the same feature
